FUNCTIONS
Uva Ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), also known as bearberry, is a low-lying evergreen shrub found in Canada, Europe, and Asia. It has been used traditionally as a diuretic, astringent and urinary antiseptic for several hundred years. One of the active components in it, arbutin, releases hydroquinone, which can provide support for a healthy urinary tract.†

SUGGESTED USE
Adults take 1 capsule daily between meals or as directed by a healthcare professional. Not intended for long-term use.Do not take if pregnant or lactating.
SIDE EFFECTS
Uva ursi may cause nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal discomfort, and a greenish-brown discoloration of the urine. Uva ursi contains hydroquinone which inhibits melanin synthesis and might lead to retinal thinning if used long-term. Chronic use, especially in children, can cause liver impairment due to its tannin content.
